Position Geschäftsführerin / Geschäftsführer (w/m/d) Fakultät für Mathematik Job description As Geschäftsführerin / Geschäftsführer (w/m/d) of the Faculty of Mathematics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), you will be the point of contact for all administrative matters related to the faculty, both internally and externally.

You will be jointly responsible for areas including finance and personnel, coordinate the faculty committees, support the administrative accompaniment of appointment procedures, and assist the dean's college in coordinating with the departmental management, other faculties, and the central administration. In addition, you will organize faculty events such as retreats and annual celebrations.

Personal qualification You have a completed scientific university education (Master's degree), preferably with a doctorate.You have initial experience in science management, preferably in faculty management or in the administration of scientific institutions, as well as knowledge in personnel and financial management. Experience in developing and implementing measures and strategies in these areas is also desirable.You are expected to have the willingness to further your professional development.You demonstrate an independent and responsible working style, high communication and teamwork skills, the ability to work independently and conceptually, organizational talent, and secure knowledge of German and English with very good language expression skills.You possess the ability to mediate between the faculty scientists and the central administration and have a strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality, discretion, and loyalty. Salary EG 14 TV-L or alternatively salary group A13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements. Opportunities for advancement with increasing experience are available.
